INDIANAPOLIS – June 16, 2021 – DuJuan McCoy, Owner, President, and CEO of Circle City Broadcasting (parent company of WISH-TV and MyINDY-TV 23), today announced that WISH-TV will air the NFL Monday Night Football game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Baltimore Ravens on Monday October 11, 2021

“Being locally owned and operated, it’s our mission and goal to provide more local sports and more local news than any other television station in the state of Indiana.” said McCoy. “This game featuring the Colts, our local team, will be the first time for WISH-TV as a CW affiliate to broadcast a live NFL game locally. We look forward to seeking other local sporting event opportunities as they emerge.”

WISH-TV’s sister station MyINDY-TV 23 broadcasts over 100 live, local sporting events and games every year  and is home of the Indianapolis Indians, Indy Eleven, and IHSAA athletics, including Metropolitan Interscholastic  Conference (MIC) high school football.

The primetime NFL game will take place week five in Baltimore between AFC rivals Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens. WISH-TV will air the primetime NFL broadcast of the game in its entirety including the pre-game and post-game shows. WISH-TV is planning extensive, exclusive coverage from Baltimore leading up to the game and immediately after with Emmy award-winning sports director Anthony Calhoun leading the coverage.

Both teams finished the 2020-2021 regular season, 11-5, and both are favorites to each win their conferences and get to the playoffs in the coming season. Since 1996, Indianapolis has led the series at 10-6. One of the most notable games between the two was the 2007 AFC Divisional Playoff game at Baltimore January 2007. The Colts won the game and advanced to the Super Bowl and would go on to win the team’s second Lombardi Trophy.
