AC’S GOLF CLASSIC RAISES RECORD $630,000 IN ONE DAY FOR TEACHERS’ TREASURES

INDIANAPOLIS — June 25, 2026 — The annual AC’s Golf Classic, founded by WISH-TV & WRTV-ABC Sports Director Anthony Calhoun, reached another historic milestone this year, raising a record-breaking $630,000 in just one day to benefit Teachers’ Treasures, the Indianapolis nonprofit dedicated to providing free school supplies to teachers and supporting inner-city youth education.

The 2026 total eclipses last year’s record and continues the tournament’s remarkable growth since Calhoun launched the event in 2013. Over the past 13 years, AC’s Golf Classic has raised more than $4 million to support teachers, students, and educational opportunities throughout Central Indiana.

“This community continues to amaze me,” said Calhoun. “To raise a record $630,000 in one day is simply incredible. Every dollar helps Teachers’ Treasures provide vital classroom supplies and resources for teachers who give so much to our children every day. I couldn’t be more grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, celebrity guests, and everyone who continues to believe in this mission.”

This year’s tournament once again attracted an impressive lineup of sports and community leaders who donated their time in support of the cause, including:

  •  Indianapolis Colts Head Coach Shane Steichen
  • Purdue Men’s Basketball Head Coach Matt Painter
  • Indiana Pacers President of Basketball Operations Kevin Pritchard
  • Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren
  • Indianapolis Colts quarterback Riley Leonard
  • IndyCar Drivers Graham Rahal & Rinus Veekay
  • NCAA basketball analyst Clark Kellogg

Their participation, along with the support of sponsors, volunteers, and donors, helped make the 2026 event the most successful in tournament history.

Teachers’ Treasures serves thousands of educators each year by providing free school supplies and classroom resources, helping ensure students have the tools they need to succeed regardless of economic circumstances. The organization’s mission continues to impact classrooms across Marion County and beyond.
